Enabling the Make Sticky Note Service

1. Turn on your Apple OS X computer
2. Go to the  Apple menu and select “System Preferences”
3. Go to the “Keyboards” panel and select the ‘Shortcuts’ tab
4. Select “Services”
5. Select the checkbox next to “Make New Sticky Note”, to enable the system service

2. Go to the Library folder
3. Select the file named “StickiesDatabase”
4. Copy the file and saved it somewhere else to backup stickies

Making a Stickies Note from a Text Selection

1. Highlight and select text and/or images you need
2. Right-click the text selection and go to the “Services” menu
3. Select the “Make New Sticky Note” option and open the Stickies app
4. Create a new note with the highlighted text and images
