How many subscriptions to streaming services do you have? Probably more than one, right? And chances are, you’re tempted to sign up for a few more. It seems like every other month there’s a brand-new service that offers fresh and exclusive content that you just can’t miss out on.
How about going for a bundle, then? Disney Plus and Hulu have teamed up to give you loads more stuff to watch. And there’s an amazing ad-free version as well. All of which sounds very intriguing indeed. So, what do you need to do to sign up?
Before You Sign Up
Great, you’re ready to commit to the subscription bundle. But, before you go ahead and take the credit card out, there are some things you should know. Foremost, that you need to be an eligible new subscriber in order to get the Disney Plus with Hulu bundle with No Ads. What does that mean? You have to be:
- 18 years old or older
- Living in the United States
How to Sign Up for Ad-Free Hulu with Disney Plus
The next thing you have to do in order to get the ad-free bundle is go directly to Hulu and subscribe to the Hulu (No Ads) or the Live TV plan. After you go through the steps of signing up for the ad-free Hulu account, proceed to visit the Disney Plus website:
- Click on the “Sign Up Now”.
- Type in the same email address that you’ve used to create the Hulu account.
- Finish the sign up by entering the password and your billing information.
Because the standard Disney Plus bundle with Hulu and ESPN+ included does have ads playing on Hulu, you aren’t signing up for the bundle persay. Instead, you’ll receive a $5.99 credit on your bill each month, which is the price of Hulu without ads. That way, you still bundle your plans together while saving some cash and keeping Hulu without ads.
That’s all there is to it. And if you decide to switch between the Hulu plans, or try to add and remove add-ons, you can still do that.
What If You Already Have a Hulu Account?
You’ve been a loyal Hulu customer who’s enjoyed the gut-wrenching ordeal of women in The Handmaid’s Tale. Or you’ve been following the imaginary world of Stephen King in the new season of Castle Rock. But, now you’re ready for some Disney Plus and all the fantastic content it offers. How do you get the Disney Plus with Hulu bundle?
The eligibility requirement still applies. You have to be over 18, and live in the US. Then you can just go ahead and visit the Disney Plus page and repeat the previous steps. You’ll be billed separately by Disney Plus for the subscription in the amount of $5.99 (the ad-supported bundle). So, no ad-free Disney Plus content. However, you get to keep whichever Hulu plan you already had. That includes the No Ad Hulu subscription.
Check Your Hulu Subscription Though
But another important factor is that your Hulu subscription is in good standing. What does that mean? If your Hulu subscription was put on hold, it’s not in good standing. This happens when Hulu is unable to process your monthly subscription payment.
These issues occur when the form of payment is invalid, or your card has expired. Or, there aren’t enough available funds for the transaction. If that’s the case, you need to log in to your Account page on your computer or mobile device and check what kind of issue you might be experiencing. If you still can’t rectify the situation, contact Hulu by phone or chat.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Steaming Bundles
There’s just something so appealing about bundling a few good channels together for easier access. Streaming movies and TV shows are one of the number one ways people relax after work or at weekends with friends and family. There’s the convenience of a streaming bundle, which means you don’t have to use different emails and worry about the dates the subscriptions will be billed. The Disney Plus with Hulu bundle also saves you a little bit of cash. And the No Ad version means you don’t have to waste your time sitting through endless commercials.
Sure, after a while you might realize that you don’t really need the bundle and go back to another streaming service. There’s just so much content and so little time in the day!
The No Ads Zone
For some people, this might seem like an unnecessary option. Ads really aren’t that bad, after all. Some of them are fun, and after a while you kind of get used to them. Maybe. But if you’re steaming time is limited, you might find the No Ad business to be imperative.
Bundle up Hulu and Disney Plus, grab some snacks and enjoy ad-free TV – you’ve paid for it, after all. Signing up for the Disney Plus with Hulu No Ads bundle is simple and easy. Just make sure that your billing info is up to date.
