Its aesthetics perfectly fit any gaming PC rig, and it also helps that the RAM is packaged in such a compact and slim housing. Don’t let the housing fool you; the G.Skill Trident Z Neo is tough and durable so breaking isn’t a worry. On the topic of installation, the RAM’s slim figure makes it ideal for easy installation as well. Performance-wise, the RAM runs well at 3600 MHz, which is higher than the official requirement of the 5950x. That should say a lot about the performance of the G. Skill Trident Z Neo. It can run games and demanding programs with little to no trouble, which is one of the things we love most about it. Based on benchmark tests, this RAM can run even the latest games without lag and at stable, high frame rates. The RAM is easy to install.

It’s worth noting that the game is one of the most demanding games out there currently. Another upside to this RAM is that it features a sleek and slim design. It’s very easy to partner it with other pieces on your gaming rig. The RAM itself is housed in a pretty solid frame, which says a lot about its durability of it. You can’t get a better RAM for your $100 unless it’s the Crucial Ballistix. There’s a reason more and more players are loving this RAM and buying it for their PCs. There are two downsides to this RAM, however. One is that this model doesn’t have RGB. However, it’s worth noting that there’s an RGB version of the Crucial Ballistix, for a bit higher of a price. If you’re looking to maximize your rig’s looks, then that would be a good option. Performance-wise, it’s still the same. Another downside to the RAM is that it can be slow as it’s only 3200 MHz. It’s mediocre for a processor like the Ryzen 5950x, but it makes up for it with its CL16 modules. The Crucial Ballistix is amazing, but it’s not without its downsides as well. However, if you consider that this is a mid-range priced RAM, you’ll be surprised at how well it performs.

The RAM delivers amazing stability with no memory tests and crashing. It seems very likely that this budget RAM was made solely for the Ryzen 5000 series. While most RAMs on this list feature an anodized aluminum look, the makers of this RAM opted for something that’s more glossy. Understandably, not everyone may take kindly to this look, but if those trivial things don’t matter, then the Teamgroup Elite Plus is an amazing RAM to have in your PC. At peak performance, it can go at 3200 MHz at 1.2v, which is more than enough for a PC that has the Ryzen 5950x processor. If you’re handy with tweaking the BIOS, you can use overclocking to push the RAM to over 3200MHz. It’s an excellent RAM if you’re on a budget. It can run games like Fortnite and DOTA 2 without any problems. Users of the RAM don’t have any complaints with regards to performance, and that’s saying a lot for a RAM that’s just over $50.
