Apple iPhone 7 And iPhone 7 Plus: Turn Safe Mode ON And OFF
Safe Mode is an operating system mode on Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones. When your phone boots to Safe Mode, it runs only the basic operating system and the preinstalled Apple apps. All third-party apps are disabled and don’t run. So why would you want to run your phone in this mode? Well, if you run into a software problem with a new application, it might make your phone unstable or non-functional, even to the point that you can’t uninstall the troublesome app. Safe mode allows you to get back onto your phone and uninstall third-party programs that might be causing you severe problems. In this article, I will show you how to activate Safe Mode on your Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
- Hold the power and Home buttons until the screen goes black.
- Continue to hold the power button but remove your finger from the Home button.
- Once you see the Apple logo, hold the volume up button until the springboard loads.
It’s important to note that if your Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is in Safe Mode, this will disable all third-party services and apps until the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is out of Safe Mode. This allows you to get into the device quickly, enable or disable whatever you need to, then restart.
