The HyperX Cloud II features a closed-back design which helps deliver a crisp and clear stereo soundscape. It’s has more punch and sounds more solid compared to other products on the market. You can get also get extra bass with the HyperX Cloud II. The extra bass doesn’t interfere with the experience in any way. In fact, it can even make video game environments feel more immersive as well. One of the best features of the Cloud line is its generous padding on the ears and the head. This high level of comfort lets you play longer sessions without feeling too uncomfortable. No other headset offers the same amount of comfort that the Cloud II brings to the table, so if this is what you’re after, you might’ve just found the perfect headset to fit your needs in terms of comfort. The Razer Kraken X is best used on PCs rather than consoles. That’s because it has virtual 7.1 surround sound, which is available via a companion app for the headset. It further elevates the headset’s audio quality and adds more depth, clarity, and definition to it. Once you experience this new level of quality from the Kraken X, you’re not going to want to go back to its regular sound quality anymore. Like other Razer offerings, the Kraken X is also stylish and comfortable. It features an understated design that gives you value for your money, even if the price itself is already cheap. While amazing, the Kraken X does have its downsides such as having a non-detachable mic. This is an easy problem to overlook though as the mic can be adjusted to fit your needs, so don’t worry too much about it. Getting a gaming headset doesn’t mean that you have to spend a lot of money. The Razer Kraken X proves that there are better budget options out there that will give you great quality for the small amount you pay.

Be it for casual or for competitive gaming, the headset makes them feel as if they’ve really stepped into the game’s world, which is always exciting. From the get-go, one of the best features of the Arctis 9X is its amazing battery life. At full charge, the headset can last for as long as 20 hours. Not many wireless headsets can deliver that amount of power for such a long time, so this is certainly one of the strong points of the Arctis 9X. Better yet, you can continue using the headset as it charges. You can do this easily on the PC by connecting to your PC with a USB cable. Another problem that players have when it comes to wireless headsets is that there’s always a problem when it comes to sound quality and output. When using the Arctis 9X; however, we’ve never felt as if we’re using a wireless headset at all. The sounds are clear and there’s not a second of delay on them as well. This is a perfect device to use for gaming or even just for listening to music while on the go because of its crisp quality. The main problem we have with the Arctis 9X is that it’s heavy. It’s the heaviest option on this list clocking in at 544 grams (1.2 lbs.). However, you don’t have to worry about the headset wearing your head down. The headset features a distinct ski goggle headband design that’s used to remove the weight of the headset from your head. You won’t feel any strain from wearing the headset even if you play for hours with it. The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is expensive for a reason. Again, you’re getting your money’s worth with this headset, so you won’t regret getting it, despite it’s high price.

However, that won’t be a problem once you actually begin using this headset. This headset seems like it’s built specifically for competitive games, such as battle royales and other shooter games. It has amazing surround sound quality. Surprisingly, it’s the headset with the best surround sound so far, despite its cheap price. What this means for your gaming experience is that you won’t have any trouble locating the sources of sounds that you’re hearing within the game. it’s perfect for games like PUBG and Fortnite, where you can get overwhelmed quickly. The Creative SXFI Gamer headset comes with positional audio, which the makers of the headset dub as Battle Mode. As weird as the name sounds, it’s actually a very useful tool when it comes to competitive gaming. The headset also comes with a good software that lets you tweak some of the settings in the headset, but it’s a bit complex to use and is not as user-friendly as other headset softwares out there. The headset also comes with an excellent mic that’s very good for communicating with your allies. Our only problem with the mic is that it has a red light at the tip which cannot be turned off. Some players might get distracted by the light if it’s being waved around in their face while they’re playing.
