Eye Scroll Solution On Samsung Galaxy S9 And S9+

Right after Samsung has released their newest Galaxy series model, the Galaxy S9, and S9+. It is arguably called the best smartphone of 2018. This is probably true because of the latest features and one of it is the Eye Scroll. There are many users that got confused after seeing this icon on their notification bar, and what is this about?
The eye icon that you can see on the Galaxy S9 or S9+ status bar is the Smart Stay feature. This works by brightening up the screen once it senses that you’re looking at the screen of your Galaxy S9. Take note that this icon tends to appear and disappear at normal intervals.
If you notice that the eye icon is there and sometimes not, this means that it’s checking if you’re looking at the display or not. The Smart Stay feature has never been this smart after the Samsung Galaxy S9 included it on the features. It checks for different patterns to know if you’re looking at the screen or not.

A Solution For Samsung Galaxy S9 Or S9+ Eye Scroll:

  1. Switch on your Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+
  2. Get to the menu screen
  3. Then browse and select the Settings app
  4. Tap on Display from the options
  5. Find “Smart Stay”
  6. Then check the box to enable it

You’ll notice that an eye icon shows up on the status bar. The eye recognition of this feature controls the light on the Galaxy S9 or S9+ screen. It uses the front sensor to track of your eyes are looking and if it is, the screen will brighten up every time you look at it. That’s how the Smart Stay feature works on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. This minimizes the user’s gesture to unlock the screen of the device.
