Galaxy S7 S Health: How To Disable Pedometer
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has feature that users can use part of S Health called pedometer. This pedometer app on S health allows you to keep track and reach your goal of daily steps walked. The way that the pedometer works is that it uses a motion sensor that is integrated in the smartphone.
The sensor counts the steps without great energy consumption. If you don’t want to use the pedometer and save battery, we’ll explain how to disable the S health pedometer on your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge.
How to disable Galaxy S7 pedometer on lock screen:

- Turn on the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge
- Go to Menu
- Select on Settings
- Select Lock Screen
- Then tap on “Additional Information”
- Uncheck the “Pedometer” box
Now the Samsung Galaxy S7 step counter will now not be displayed on the lock screen.
How to disable pedometer on Galaxy S7 completely:
- Turn on the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge
- Go to the S Health Fitness App
- Select on the three horizontal bars to display a navigation bar on the left
- Tap here on “Pedometer”
- Below the current traveled distance select on the “Pause” button.
