Do you have some people on your contact that you do not want to hear from them? The feature of blocking calls on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus is known as “Rejection.” Below are instructions on how to block specific numbers or contacts.
How To Block Individual Contacts
The Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9 Plus can block calls from a particular number. You can follow these instructions below to do this:
- Turn on your Samsung Galaxy
- Click on the phone application
- Select Call Log
- Chose the number you wish to Reject
- Click on “More”
- Tap “Add to auto reject list”
How To Reject Calls From Unknown Callers
The Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus allows you to reject calls from an unknown caller by adding them to the rejection list. What’s good is you don’t have to wait to be called by the unknown number before you add. In order for you to activate this, access the “Auto reject list” and tap on reject calls from “unknown callers.”
You have blocked the person once you complete the above steps. You can also follow this same steps if you want to unblock contacts on your Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.
Additional Features
You can also block messages from selected numbers if you don’t want to receive anything from whoever owns that number. Also, you can do selective call forwarding. If you do not want that person to know you have blocked their phone number, call forwarding to a non-working number may be preferable. Whenever you automatically reject a call, it will still ring once before rejecting it.
If you want to block or reject all incoming calls and messages, you may want to simply use airplane mode and this will allow you to receive all messages once you take it off airplane mode.
