Galaxy S9 And Galaxy S9 Plus: How To Block Calls And Texts
Today’s technology makes it so easy for us to keep in touch with our friends and loved ones. But sometimes, texting and calling becomes a breach of privacy if you don’t want to be contacted. There are particular people you wouldn’t want receiving messages from. With your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, you will be able to choose who can and cannot contact you.
The Rejection feature allows you to block specific people and numbers. If this feature is enabled on some of your contacts, your device will automatically reject and block their calls and text messages.
How to Auto-Block Calls and Texts from Particular Contacts
If you want to put people in your Auto Reject List on your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, you just have to follow these steps:
- Visit your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus applications page
- On the right area of the screen, choose “More”, then “Settings”
- Scroll down to “Call rejection”
- Tap on the “Auto Reject list”
- Enter all the contacts you want to reject.
If you want to receive notifications, text messages, and calls from those specific contacts again, you just have to simply remove them from the Auto Reject List.
How to Reject Calls from Unknown Callers
If, however, you want to reject all calls from unknown callers on your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, then you can also add them to your auto reject list.
There is no need for you to wait for an unknown number for you to add them to the auto reject list. You just simply set your auto reject list to reject all unknown callers that come into your Samsung Galaxy S9 or Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
To do this, all you have to do is go back to your Auto reject list. Then, tap on “reject calls from unknown callers.”
