Designating a unique ringtone for a contact

The Older versions of iOs make it impossible for us to assign a specific ringtone for our contacts. With its latest update, you are now able to designate the music that makes you remember of that specific individual. Best thing is that you can incorporate it into both text and calls that came from them! The instructions below will teach you how to designate a specific ringtone on your Apple iPhone X

1. Open your phone and install the latest version of iTunes
2. Pick the music you like to be your ringtone (note that the music will only play for 30 seconds)
3. Choose what part of the song you want to begin and end with. (First, right-click or ctrl-click the song you want and select Get Info from the resulting drop-down list)
4. Translate it to AAC version. (Right-click or ctrl-click the same music again then choose Create AAC Version)
5. Create a copy of that file then erase the former
6. Replace the Filename extension “.m4a.” with “.m4r.”
7. Go back to iTunes then add that file
8. Sync your Apple iPhone X to iTunes
9. Lastly, set the ringtone you have created. (Open your settings app > go to sounds> tap ringtone. Afterwards, choose the ringtone you have created)

Performing the instructions set above will enable you to assign a specific ringtone for each person in the contact on your iPhone X.
