How To Calibrate the Compass On the Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge:
- Turn on the Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge.
- From the Home screen, select the Phone app.
- Switch to the dial pad.
- Type *#0*# on the dialer.
- Then select the Sensor tile.
- Browse to the Magnetic Sensor.
- Now move the Samsung Galaxy S7 completely around each axis.
- Move the compass sensor of the Samsung Galaxy S7 until its completely calibrated.
- Exit the service menu by repeatedly tapping the Back button.
And just like that, the compass on your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge has been calibrated. It might take a bit of practice to get good at reading it properly, but at least the option is now available to you. Besides, maybe it can make a decent party trick at your next family dinner.
