Google Calendar has a built-in feature to download your calendar data, which you can then import into Excel. Aside from access to your Google Account and Excel, you don’t need anything else to follow the below steps.

  1. Open Google Calendar on the web.
  2. Click the gear icon on the top-right and select Settings.

  4. Click Export. A ZIP file will be downloaded on your PC.

  5. Unzip the file. 
  6. Convert the ICS file into CSV format using a tool like free ICS to CSV converter.
  7. Open Excel.
  8. Click File, then Open to upload your file from Google Calendar.
  9. Use the Text Import Wizard to prepare your file for upload and click Finish once done.

After this, your Google Calendar data will be imported into Excel.

If you directly import the ICS file from Google Calendar into Excel, it will appear in a confusing format like shown below.

So, you should convert the ICS file to CSV before importing it into Excel.

You cannot use the Google Calendar’s Android or iPhone app to export the calendar data and then import it into Microsoft Excel. The above steps require access to a PC.
