Saving Google Maps Offline on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus
We will present two methods to save Google Maps offline on your Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus.
For the first method, make sure your are on your Google Maps app. Then, enter the command for search. After going to the search bar and clicking the OK button, you will be given the option to save the map of your choice or the one that you typed into the address bar.
Saving Google Maps from Information Bar on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus
For the second method, make sure you are on your Maps application. Once you are at this location, search for your desired location. Then, hold the display screen until you see a checkmark. To confirm, you can swipe the screen upwards. You can view your saved searches in the information bar at the bottom. You can also view these saved maps when you are offline.
Although, you should note that the saved maps will only remain stored in your device for 30 days. After 30 days, it will be automatically deleted. If you’ve followed all the steps above, you will now have access to your saved maps even when you are not online.
