How To Switch OFF Click Sound On Home Key Of Apple iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus
The Apple iPhone has a sound feature that is made to notify you when something is being typed on the iPhone keyboard. Some Apple iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus users find the sound effect annoying while other enjoy the features as it helps them to type on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus virtual keyboard easier.
You can quickly turn the click sound feature off and have the key taps stay quiet if you don’t want to hear the click sound. You can permanently make changes when disabling the click sound on home key sound effects on your Apple iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus through settings change.
Turn Off Keyboard Sound Permanently
This setting option is accessible in almost every version of iOS and is always located in the same place. It works well to disable the home keyboard click sounds on the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
- Open the “Settings” app on your Apple iPhone and select “Sounds.”
- Scroll to the bottom and search “Keyboard Clicks” and flip that switch to the “OFF” position
- Exit out of the Settings.
Temporarily Switch Off Keyboard Sounds
Using the devices Mute button to turn off the key clicking sound. The clicking sounds won’t be heard by just changing the mute switch while typing. This Mute mode is just a temporary measure. You’ll find the click sound to be nonexistent when you go to any application that you would type and usually hear the click sounds before. You can go back to the Settings > Sound and toggle the Keyboard Clicks switch back ON if you want the click sounds to make noise again.
