How to Turn Off Severe Weather Alerts

The way that you can control the emergency and weather alerts on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is by going to the text messaging application called “Messaging”. Once you get to the Messaging app, follow these steps:

Select the three dots in the top right corner which is the menu button.
Go to Settings.
Browse and select Emergency Alerts.
Uncheck the boxes that you don’t want to get alerts from.
