How To Turn OFF Galaxy S7 Parallax Effect (Moving Background)

The recent release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has lot of new features that Samsung users like, but one feature that is still the same from Galaxy S6 is the parallax effect feature, which makes the background on the Galaxy S7 move. What parallax effect does is give your Samsung Galaxy S7’s home screen a 3D look without actually being 3D. So when you move the screen around it looks like the apps or wallpaper is moving around in the background.

But this feature simply uses the gyroscope and accelerometer together to create the illusion like it’s actually 3D. Even though it’s cool at first, some users get tired of it and want to disable the parallax effect feature on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

How To Turn OFF Galaxy S7 Parallax Effect:

  1. Turn on your Galaxy S7
  2. From the Home screen, select on Menu
  3. Select Settings
  4. Browse and choose “Wallpaper”
  5. Change the “Wallpaper motion effect” OFF
