How to set up Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Blocking Mode

Now learning how to turn it on is simply not good enough as there are plenty of options you can play with here. Below the features section in the Blocking Mode menu that you just opened, you will see that you can point out the kind of alerts and sounds that are enabled in the Blocking Mode just like the Do Not Disturb feature from iOS.

It is suggested that you turn off incoming calls and notifications. If you use the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus and you don’t want the alarm dead, do not select the option that will turn off the Alarms and if it is already turned on, turn it off for good measure.

The final option allows you to turn on calls and notifications from callers and contacts that are important like your boss or your wife! There are two options to do this. It is also pertinent to mention that the Blocking Mode won’t stop a calling notifications from a repeat caller. If you don’t want to hear it anyway, go to the three dot option on the top right and select add that contact to the rejected list.
