How To Use LG G4 As A Mobile Hotspot

How to turn the LG G4 into a wireless hotspot:
- Turn on the LG G4.
- Go to the Notification Settings, by swiping down on the Home screen.
- In the top right corner of the screen, select on Settings.
- Browse for Tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot and select it.
- Then select on Mobile Hotspot.
- Change the On/Off toggle to On.
- Select OK on the Attention screen advising you that WiFi will be turned off.
- Follow the directions at the bottom of the screen to connect another device to your LG G4.
How to change the password and security type for wireless hotspot on the LG G4
It’s standard for the LG G4 to add a password to the mobile hotspot feature. It also defaults to WPA2 for security. Follow the steps below to change these settings:
- Turn on the LG G4.
- Go to the Notification Settings, by swiping down on the Home screen.
- In the top right corner of the screen, select on Settings.
- Browse for Tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot and select it.
- Then select on Mobile Hotspot.
- Select on the three dots to view more options.
- Select Configure.
- Change the password and select Save.
