How To Use Private Mode On LG G5
For those that own the new smartphone by LG, you may not want others to see what you’ve been browsing on your device. The great thing is with the LG G5 Private Mode you can hide photos, videos and files from others without having to download any third-party apps. It’s only possible for someone to see thing in Private Mode is with either an unlock pattern or password code. Below are instructions on how to set up Private Mode on the LG G5.
How to enable Private Mode on LG G5:
- Turn on your smartphone.
- With two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen to find a list of options.
- Tap on Private Mode.
- After you enter Private Mode for the first time, a quick walkthrough will be given and you’ll need to enter a pin code.
How to add and remove files from Private Mode on LG G5:
It’s important to note that Private Mode has many different media types including photos and videos. Follow these steps to add supported files to Private Mode:
- Go and turn on Private Mode.
- Browse the pictures or file that you want to hide.
- Choose the file (s) and then select on the Overflow menu button in the upper right.
- Tap on Move to Private.
How to disable Private Mode on LG G5:
- Turn on your smartphone.
- With two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen to find a list of options.
- Tap on Private Mode.
- Now the LG G5 should go back to normal mode.
