How To Use Split Screen View And Multi Window On Huawei P10

The Huawei P10 has a Split Screen View that allows users to view multiple apps at one time. A similar feature is available on LG and Samsung handsets, but the Huawei P10 version works a little differently. To use the multi window view on the Huawei P10 you must enable it within the settings menu. Once enabled you must also go through the setup phase.

Enable Multi Window mode on Huawei P10

To begin with, you’ll need to enable the multi window mode on the Huawei P10. Follow the steps below.

1. Turn on the Huawei P10
2. Next, open the settings app.
3. Tap the Multi window option, located under Device
4. Switch the toggle for multi window to ‘On’ by tapping it.
5. You can tap to select whether you’d like apps to open in multi window by default by tapping the ‘Open in Multi Window’ checkbox.

Once you have enabled multi window on the Huawei P10, check to see if there is a small half circle on your display. This gray half circle signifies that the multi window feature is enabled.

You can also access the multi window feature on the Huawei P10 by simply tapping the gray half circle.

Once you tap the gray half circle, hold your finger on apps and drag them to the multi window menu. By doing this you’ll be able to open multiple apps within the split screen windows. You can also resize the app windows by pressing the gray half circle at any time.
