How to keep Galaxy Note 8 screen on longer

Changing the Note 8 screen time is actually very straightforward. All you need to do is go to the settings section and tap on a few options. First, open the Settings app, then tap on ‘Display.’ After that, you will see an option for the screen timeout duration. You can now change the setting.

The screen timeout duration is measured in seconds and minutes. There is also an option so that the screen will never turn off unless you switch it off manually. If you’re worried about battery life, it’s best to choose a shorter screen timeout duration.

Alternatively, you can go to the display settings again and turn on Smart Stay. With Smart Stay turned on, your screen will always stay on so long as you are looking at it. If you look away, the Smart Stay feature will notice you’ve looked away and the display will switch off to save battery.
