OnePlus 5: How To Change Lock Screen
Owners of the new OnePlus 5 might are curious how to change their lock screen. There are multiple ways that you can use to change the lock screen of your OnePlus 5 and I’ll explain below. One of the great features of the new OnePlus 5 is that you can customize your lock screen to make the OnePlus 5 more unique to you. You can also customize the lock screen wallpaper.
If you go to Settings > Lock Screen you’ll be presented with an extensive list of customizable options.
- Dual Clock – this feature displays the time from two different time zones, being very useful when traveling
- Clock Size – You can reduce or increase the size of the clock as you wish
- Date – this feature displays the current date on your lock screen
- Camera Shortcut – Quickly take photos using this quick shortcut without needing to enter a passcode
- Owner Information – displays relevant and social information about the owner of the phone
- Unlock Effect – feature provides your lock screen with visually appealing unlock effects
- Additional Info – add or remove additional feature to your lock screen, like weather and more
OnePlus 5: How To Change Lock Screen
Just like the OnePlus 2, the method of changing the wallpaper is quite similar. You just need to touch and hold an empty space on the Home screen. This will make the Edit mode to come up where you will see additional options like add widgets, change home screen settings, and also the option to change the wallpaper. Click on “Wallpaper”, then choose “Lock screen.”
The OnePlus 5 comes with a lot of cool preloaded wallpapers that you can choose from to set as your lock screen, but you are also allowed to use any image from your OnePlus 5 gallery by clicking on “more images” and selecting any image from your gallery including the ones taken with you camera. As soon as you see your preferred image, select the Set Wallpaper button.
