Samsung Galaxy J5: How To Use Multi Screen Window Feature
The great thing about the Samsung Galaxy J5 is the ability to view apps Multi Screen Window Mode or as some call it “Split Screen View”, the Multi Screen feature on the Galaxy J5 allows users to have two apps running at the same time. Before you can use Split Screen and Multi Window on the Galaxy J5, you have to enable it in the settings menu. The following are instructions on how to first enable Split Screen View and Multi Screen Window Mode and then how to start using these functions on your Samsung smartphone.
Enable Multi Screen Window Mode
First enable Multi Screen Window in the Settings menu in order to use the feature. Follow the instructions below on how to set it up:
- Turn on the Galaxy J5
- Go to the Settings menu
- Go to the Multi window under Device
- In the the top right corner of the screen, switch the toggle Multi window to ON
- Select if you want the content in Multi Window mode by default by checking the box next to Open in multi window view
After you have turned on and enabled the Multi Window Mode and Split Screen View, find the grey semi or half circle on the screen. This half circle or semi circle on the Galaxy J5 screen means that you have enabled the settings and you’re ready to start using the Split Screen Mode.
Then select on the semicircle with your finger to bring multi window to the top to start using the Multi Window feature on the Galaxy J5. After you have done this, drag the icons from the menu to the window you want it to open in. A great feature on the Galaxy J5 is the ability to resize the window by pressing and holding the circle in the middle of the screen and relocating it to a new location on the smartphone.
