How to Solve Samsung Galaxy S9 Heats Up And Makes Weird Noise Problem
You must sometimes be worried if your Samsung Galaxy S9 is overheating and making all kind of weird noises. This problem can happen when your smartphone is left in the sun for long periods because excessive heat can affect its normal functioning. However, it’s also a fact that many smartphones can excessively heat even when you’re not overexposing them to the sun. In this article, we will explain some troubleshooting solution to the problem.
Solution to Galaxy S9 Heating Up
The first thing that you need to do is to verify the third-party apps. It might be the recently or previously installed apps with bugs that could be the cause of the overheating problem. The place where you can examine this possibility is the Safe Mode. You can access this mode by pressing and holding the power button until the option Reboot to Safe Mode appears on display. After that, tap on Restart and wait for the device to reboot under the Safe Mode. If the problem is solved, then, this is caused by the third-party applications, and you have to uninstall them.
You can also factory reset your Galaxy S9 to solve the heat up problem. However, you must clear the cache partition to factory reset the phone.
For the time being, you should hold the Power, Volume Up, and Home buttons until you see the Samsung symbol displayed on the screen. A blue Recovery Text should also be visible right above this logo. Release the buttons when you’re officially in the Recovery Mode and use the Volume down to navigate through the menus.
Scroll to the Wipe Cache Partition option where you activate it with the Power button. Select the “Reboot System Now” with the Volume buttons to initiate the reboot. Your Samsung Galaxy S9 should no longer overheat after following all these steps.
