How to Stream Hallmark TV
This is the age of cord-cutting. Subscription TV services aren’t just unaffordable, but they are also quite unnecessary, which is why it’s the it thing to switch to online streaming services. This doesn’t mean that you’ll have to say goodbye to watching your favorite channels (okay, it depends on what channels you have in mind).
The Hallmark Channel, for one, is available in a good number of streaming services. Stay with us to find out more about them.
Hallmark Channel Everywhere
If by any chance you have yet to cut the cord and you’re only thinking about it, you might want to try this online service. It lets you watch both the basic Hallmark and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries live. Besides that, you can also watch certain movies and TV shows. Make sure not to miss your favorite shows, though, because the list changes a lot.
You can only use Hallmark Channel Everywhere if you’re subscribing to cable TV. So this isn’t applicable to cord-cutting, but still…
Sling TV
This streaming service is cheaper than most at a monthly fee of $25. It’s keeping the number of local broadcast channels down for that low price.
The $25 basic bundle does not include any Hallmark channels, but you can add $5 for the Lifestyle bundle to gain access to all three. This means that you can watch Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, the Hallmark Channel, and Hallmark Drama for just about $30 a month.
Besides the low price, Sling TV is also a worthy consideration because it lets you record 50 hours of whatever you want thanks to Cloud DVR. This service only costs an additional $5 per month. You can try it for free for a week, but not with Hallmark. You can use Sling TV on your PC, smartphone, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
FuboTV
One of the more expensive streaming services on the list, fuboTV costs a rather high $55 a month. But wait till you find out what you’re getting. Right off the bat, you get over 95 channels, including the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, as they’re both in the basic bundle.
Just by subscribing to fuboTV gives you 30 hours of Cloud DVR, as well as access to the Hallmark Channel Everywhere online service. Additional benefits include a free seven-day trial and 4K sports streaming support. Although this streaming service is geared toward live sports events (major American sports plus international soccer), it’s not all that bad for everything else, if the price is not a concern.
DirecTV Now
From the well-known satellite TV service, DirecTV Now lets you watch the Hallmark Channel on your TV, and it also works on Android, iPhone, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and Chromecast. The bundle that includes the Hallmark Channel has around 45 channels at a cost of $50 per month. You can use DirecTV Now for free for a week.
PlayStation Vue
If you’re a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 owner, PlayStation Vue would be a natural consideration. If you decide to go for the Elite bundle, you’re getting over 90 channels, including the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries for $65 a month. You can take a look at the interesting channel lineup that this online streaming service offers for free for five days. Besides its own gaming platforms, the PlayStation Vue app is available for Amazon Fire TV and Roku.
Philo
One of the newest and cheapest online streaming services, Philo offers basically everything except for sports. This allows it to maintain a very low price of $20 per month for a channel bundle that includes all three Hallmark channels and 43 other channels besides. For having up to three simultaneous streams, you’re getting quite the deal here.
Philo also offers a free seven-day trial period and works within Google Chrome and on iOS, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and even Xbox One. As if that’s not enough, you also get to use the Hallmark Channel Everywhere service with a Philo subscription.
Cutting the Cord
Whether or not you’ve decided to cut the cord, streaming services are a great way to keep up with your favorite TV shows and movies if you’re not home. If you still have a cable TV subscription, there’s the Hallmark Channel Everywhere service, but keep in mind that most online streaming services also have free trial periods. At the end of the day, it’s all about the method that suits your needs the most.
