How To Use Text Message Forwarding On iPhone X
The iPhone X has a tool wherein the user will be able to send the same text message received to another user. Forwarding of Text Message works by mirroring the text messages content which is received by your iPhone X in the Messages application. You should know that Text Message Forwarding needs the same Apple ID to be used on the two gadgets for Text Message Forwarding in order for it to work the right way. You also need to sign in your Apple ID to use the Facetime
Before you can use the iPhone X Text Message Forwarding tool, it is required to add your email address for iMessage. For Facetime, it needs your Apple ID account or iCloud account. These are required for Text Message Forwarding on the iPhone X as well as iMac and iPad.
Setting Up Text Message Forwarding for iPhone X:
- Find tour settings panel, then go to Message
- Under Send & Receive, choose “Use your Apple ID for iMessage”
- Input your login information to allow you to use both your Apple ID and your phone number for message
- Enter an email address and hit Next
- Go to Text Message Forwarding
- You’ll get a verification code on your other device
- Enter this code to activate
The process above also applies to other Apple devices if you want the Text Message Forwarding enabled, too. You don’t need to use Bluetooth or share a WiFi connection to use the Text Message Forwarding on iPhone X.
